Your Jessie Boys sunglasses are hand-finished from premium acetate. A little care keeps them looking — and performing — the way they should.

Cleaning

• Rinse with lukewarm water to remove dust, salt, or sunscreen before wiping

• Dry and clean with a microfibre cloth only — the one that came with your case is ideal

• Avoid paper towels, tissues, or clothing, which can micro-scratch the lenses

• Never use household glass cleaner, alcohol, or acetone-based products — they can strip the acetate finish and lens coatings

Storage

• Store in the supplied case when not worn

• Avoid leaving them lens-down on hard surfaces

• Keep out of direct heat — hot cars, dashboards, and direct sun exposure can warp acetate frames and loosen hinges over time

Handling

• Use two hands to remove and put on — one-handed removal stresses the hinges

• Avoid pushing them up onto your head; this stretches the temples out of alignment

What This Means for Warranty Claims

Damage from heat exposure, improper cleaning products, or handling outside of this guidance is considered wear from use, not a manufacturing fault, and sits outside our warranty cover. Manufacturing defects — hinge failure, delamination, coating faults from the factory — are always covered under our warranty and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
